Stealth games is a unique genre in which players have to avoid or overcome antagonists by the use of guile. Games of this type typically allow the player to remain undetected by hiding, avoiding noise, and even using various disguises. Some games allow players to choose between stealthy and aggressive approach but rewarding them for greater levels of stealth. The genre has employed espionage, counter-terrorism, and rogue themes, with protagonists ranging from commandos and spies to thieves, assassins, and ninjas. Some of the best stealth titles have combined stealth elements with other genres, such as FPS games and even platform games.
Historically, the most well-known game of this genre is Metal Gear series. Other top franchises are Splinter Cell, Hitman, and Thief.

The game was released in May 2017 for all main platforms (PC, PlayStation, Xbox).
In Prey, players take control over Morgan Yu and explore the massive space station, Talos I. Talos I is a place where research into a hostile alien race (called the Typhon) is performed. When the Typhon escape their confinement, players must use a variety of weapons and super-human abilities (derived from the Typhon) to avoid being killed by the aliens and escape the station. The station is presented as a semi-open world, with progression through the areas possible after obtaining certain abilities or key items. In that regard, Prey is somewhat similar in nature to a Metroidvania game.
Arkane's Prey is a remake (although word re-imagining describes it better) of the original 2006’s Prey. 2017’s Prey took the place of Prey 2, a long-planned sequel to the original game that was canceled in 2014. Arkane's version does not use any of the planned sequel’s assets, and only incorporates the name and the broad theme of the hero being hunted by aliens. Prey is often described as a spiritual sequel to the legendary System Shock.
Prey is one hell of a game and offers a fantastic gaming experience. Get your own copy at Games Republic and fight for survival aboard the Talos I station.Hide
