Steam is a digital distribution platform created by Valve Corporation. It offers digital rights management (DRM), multiplayer gaming, social networking services, and even video stream function. Steam provides its users with installation and automatic updates of games on multiple computers, as well as various community features. BioShock is a franchise consisting of three FPS video games, developed and published by 2K Games. The first installment in the series was released in August 2007 for multiple platforms. It was a huge hit and quickly spun into the other media. All games in the series (BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite) are set in various dystopian cities/communities and the games’ protagonist has to fight against all odds to survive. BioShock includes elements of aforementioned FPS, survival horrors, and even role-playing games, giving the player different approaches in engaging enemies and various obstacles.
